Apex Law Service is a paralegal services vendor — not a law firm. We provide document-heavy paralegal and litigation support to independent attorneys, you hire the attorney of your own choosing, and that attorney directs and supervises our work and remains responsible for it. Our rate is a transparent $150/hour, and we never split legal fees, take a percentage of any recovery, or charge for referrals.

What we are

Apex Law Service provides paralegal and litigation-support services to independent attorneys. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and we do not give legal advice. You hire an independent attorney of your own choosing; that attorney directs and supervises any paralegal work we perform, and remains responsible for it. Our rate is a transparent $150/hour for paralegal work, and $100/hour when we subcontract for other firms or paralegal businesses.

We do not split legal fees, take a percentage of any recovery, accept outcome-based or contingency pay, or set or share in an attorney’s fee. Our compensation is for hours of paralegal work performed — nothing else.

What we do

Our work is organized, document-heavy support performed at the direction of the supervising attorney:

  • Evidence and discovery indexing
  • Timelines and case chronologies
  • Document collection and organization
  • Records and subpoena requests and logistics
  • Drafting of filings and correspondence at the attorney’s direction and for the attorney’s review
  • Deposition and transcript summaries
  • Trial-preparation materials and exhibits

Legal strategy, legal advice, and all decisions about your case belong to your attorney. We organize facts and prepare materials; we do not interpret the law for you.

Practice areas we support

  • Estate planning, wills, and trusts
  • Probate and trust administration
  • Trust litigation — including beneficiary disputes over a trustee’s conduct
  • Criminal defense and DUI
  • Business litigation and intellectual property
  • Real estate

For trust beneficiaries: tell your story once

If you believe a trustee has mishandled a trust you’re a beneficiary of, you may face the exhausting prospect of explaining your situation over and over to one attorney after another — and risk forgetting a key detail in one interview that you mentioned in another.

We offer a fact-organization service built to solve exactly that. Working at your direction, we help you assemble your account and your documents one time, into a single, clearly organized package: a chronology, an evidence index, and a plain-language summary of the facts. You can then share that same package with as many attorneys as you wish, so each one can evaluate your situation efficiently and you never have to start from scratch.

This is a documentation and organization service. It is not legal advice, and we do not draw legal conclusions about whether a breach occurred — that is for the attorney you hire.

How it works

  1. Free intake. We help you gather and organize your facts and documents at no charge.
  2. Neutral introductions. If you’d like, we can introduce you to independent attorneys. These introductions are free and neutral — we are not paid to refer you, and we do not rank, rate, recommend, or vouch for any attorney. The choice of attorney is entirely yours.
  3. Paralegal work, supervised. If an attorney agrees to represent you and you hire them, that attorney may assign us paralegal tasks under their supervision, billed at $150/hour.

For attorneys

We function as your outsourced paralegal team — 20+ trained personnel, able to scale quickly — under a standard services agreement. You direct the work, you review it, and you remain professionally responsible for it. Our rate is transparent and work-based, with no fee-sharing and no obligation tied to client referrals.

Community

We support PraxisProfessional.com, coordinating volunteer paralegal work for pro bono attorneys representing sex-trafficking victims, and AllInService.org, a community-service project for kids on juvenile probation.
