We have a simple contract for “Task Services” which are simple administrative/clerical tasks that you may need completed but that are not full legal matters.  You pay approximately a $1000 Initial Attorney Retainer to Attorney Chris Clausen (different situations require different retainers) and pay Apex Law Service $30-$150/hr. depending on the type of task required via either an additional $500 paid to the Attorney, or a separate $500 retainer paid directly to Apex.  We simply write in a small addendum to our regular Attorney/Client/Paralegal Contracts and reference the lower price range of $30/hr. and then we work our hardest to do as many of your tasks at the lower rate.  Apex Law Service will handle tasks you don’t want to handle or cannot for whatever reason get to.  You also have to pay any costs required to complete the tasks.  Additional payments may be required by the Attorney as situations change.  We will hire an appropriate Licensed & Insured Handyman Service &/or Moving/Storage Service on your behalf under the authority of your Attorney and these services incur different costs.

We also provide an even more limited service activity called “Stacking Services” where we use this Limited Power of Attorney that authorizes us to receive, stack, save, copy and send your documents wherever you need if you are currently incarcerated anywhere in the United States of America.  The Limited Power of Attorney also authorizes us to begin to open a contract for more extensive services under the authority an Attorney if you need.  Here is a Blank Limited Power of Attorney if you want to authorize us to do something else specific.  You can write us and we will send you the Limited Power of Attorney for you to sign and have notarized.  You can also send us documents in the first letter, or wait until you have the Limited Power of Attorney notarized, the choice is yours.

We do this because when I was 3-years old, my Father went to the State Pen and I know how hard the situation can be.  My Mother and I had to move into a garage and use a bucket for a toilet for a time.  One of the Local Dairy Owners bailed her out of some debt and she married a really nice guy and so I have a Stepdad, but it changed our lives forever.  When my Pops got out, he couldn’t really quite get his life situation all the way together ever again and died of end stage liver and kidney failure in 2003.  He didn’t drink for the last few years of his life and we were able to spend a good amount of time talking about how things happened in life.  My goal is to help people get and stay on their feet for themselves, their families, and for society at large.  My Mother helps me organize, store & file documents to this day.  We also have a small project helping community groups put together projects for kids on juvenile probation.  The choice is yours to move in a positive direction.

Our Stacking Services are FREE OF CHARGE.  You must pay for a Notary and for us to ship your documents wherever you need them, but there is no charge for receiving, stacking and saving your documents.
